About Me

Who am I?

Well, that's a good question and one that is complex to answer, since I believe that to say in a few words who I am, is to limit me too much.

I'm Dyego Soares de Oliveira, I'm Brazilian, I'm 26 years old and I graduated in journalism. I am a humorous person, patient, organized, very observant, communicative, professional, honest and transparent, like working in groups and especially in environments with cultural diversities. I'm open minded, I like to help others, to meet people and let myself be known, since I believe it is essential for a good relationship.

Know the world is one of my dreams and I have had the opportunity to start it. In this site I share some of my work as a photographer performed in Egypt and Israel from December 2011 to January 2012 to promote tourism in those countries.

From September to December 2012, another amazing opportunity I had, was volunteering at the communication department of an NGO in Paraguay, called Fundación Saraki, whose which fights for the rights of people with a disability. There I worked with production of advertising material, direct contact with the media, attended team meetings, was responsible for internal communication, photographic coverage of events, press office and took care of the social networks of NGO.

In addition, there are journalistic content that we produced in July 2013, during World Youth Day (WYD), one of the events that gather the most amount of people in the world, which happens every two or three years in a different country where the Pope meet the youth of the world; and I had the opportunity to feed the event's official website about what happened every day. The materials have been translated into at least five other languages through the translating team.

Every experience I acquire more knowledge I extend my worldview, exchange experiences and can leave my legacy to build a better world. I seek to make a difference where I go and generate a positive impact on society, allowing me to be impacted by them too. Each experience, whether good or bad, I try to extract what was good. With errors, I watch them and I learn from them.

Like any good journalist, I love to read and write and let I can write a book here, lol. But that's a little about me and my experiences. To know more just knowing me personally, because I can say who I am today, for what I've got to know me, but every day I discover something new and I believe that's the beauty of life, have something new to live, know and discover each day.
