About Me

I'm from a small town in the mountains of Vermont (a small state in the north east of the US). I just graduated highschool and am traveling around Europe for a year before going to university in Montana.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

AT THE MOMENT:
This is my first time using CS, but when I heard about it I knew I needed to check it out.
Right now, I just need a place to stay in Bilbao while I find a more permanent place to stay. My plan is to get a job teaching at a language institute and live in Bilbao for a year.
IN GENERAL:
CS is an amazing way to meet people, explore new places, and travel on a budget. There's nothing better than being introduced to a new place by a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a little of everything, mostly alternative rock and reggae
Favorite Bands: Dirty Heads, X Ambassadors, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime
Movies: I can appreciate all types of cinema, I like the classics and anything Tarantino
Favorite Movies: Pulp Fiction, Lord of the Rings, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Reservoir Dogs, Mad Max series, Boondock Saints, Babadook, Matrix
Books: I'm one of those losers who says "I wish I could read more, I just don't have the time." that being said I still have my favorites
Favorite Books: Lord of the Rings (again), Hitchhikers Guide series, Three Body Problem

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been whipped by a shaman.
(He wasn't mad. It's a long story, ask me about it in person!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm certified to teach english and would love to learn some spanish (and basque!)
A quick tour around bilbao would be really cool too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm for life, good conversation, a halfway decent (if not twisted) sense of humor, and some pure Vermont maple syrup.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
