Hi! I am Dylan and in my profile pic is my wife Madi. We love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things. I would love to meet people who know more about nature/horticulture because I like taking walks in the woods and we always wonder what certain plants are called/used for.

Some of our hobbies include cooking, playing soccer and volleyball, hiking/backpacking, video games, and in general trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the couch surfing concept is fascinating and is a great way to do more things. Our world is a better place when people come together, work together, and party together. My brother has previously told me some amazing stories about traveling through Europe couch surfing and it has inspired me to attempt it. I find that talking to different kinds of people allows you to see life from a different point of view which then allows you to enjoy life better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dad and I took a boat down the Mississippi River about 1400 miles on a two-leg trip. Easily the craziest thing I've done. It was full of problems and triumphs. It made me extremely grateful that we live in such great conditions. All cuts and scratches heal much faster indoors. It is a blessing to not be itchy all the time/covered in mosquitos.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn how to garden and take care of plants. I want to be able to identify plants and animals on walks. If someone knows something I do not, I will listen and try to soak up any information that I can.

I can play the guitar and am a decent teacher. I love cooking with people. I have a couple good stories and would love to hear other people's.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am clean, I can make a mean Pad Thai, not picky, I can handle myself in social settings, I like to look on the bright side of things but I'm still a realist, I don't need to always be entertained.
