Hi, my name is Dylan. I'm a sophomore in college. I'm studying Apparel, Merchandising and Design in Philadelphia. I'm always the worst at about me sections, because I'm nervous about creating a certain image about me before someone even meets me. I'd rather leave it up to the person to find out about me on a more personal level. I guess I can say that I am a very open minded person who loves traveling, meeting new and cool people, always down for spontaneous adventures, trying new things, exploring and experiencing the world for all it has to offer. I'm also gay, but that shouldn't matter, hopefully. I'm just trying to figure out who I am as a person.

At first I only thought about Couchsurfing as method to find a place to stay, but right away, my perspective changed. I realized that Couchsurfing is a community across the world of people who are willing to let another human enter their home and life, to not only provide them with a place to stay but allow them to experience new things, like people and places. It's so amazing how much the hosts connect and communicate with the people who stay with them. I have struggled with confidence issues in my past, but I've learned a lot since then and I'm living my life to the fullest. Couchsurfing is a way for me to experience life, meet new people, grow as a person and expand my mind.

BOOKS: a clockwork orange, lolita, catcher in the rye, the great gatsby, slaughterhouse-five (kurt vonnegut in general) and a lot more i can't think of... i need to give myself more time to read.
