About Me

As the only Oregonian in my family, I've always felt like I should have gotten to enjoy California like everyone else. Because of that, I like the sun and getting outdoors when I can. I like hiking, biking, swimming, running, any of that. On my free time I play guitar/bass/a bit of piano, and enjoy making art of any kind. It's a good way to get stuff out in a way that's unparalleled by anything else. I'm a bit of a nerd, and gaming runs in my blood.

I like using my head. I'm not the kind of person that enjoys sitting around watching tv and small talk, it'll drive me nuts. I've got to be doing a million projects, going out and exploring, and I've been trying to continuously break my comfort zone for the past few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently, I'm on a roadtrip from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine, with a close friend of mine, and I'd love to have some nice places to stay and people to meet along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over the past 3 years, me and my dad restored my first vehicle, a 1964 VW Bus. It still has work, but I'm proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play a bit of guitar or bass, how to refurbish or finish cars (Just the cosmetic stuff, I'm no mechanic), or most kinds of metals. If you want to know anything about Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, or the West Coast in general, it's pretty likely I can help you there. If you want to know about how any type of music is recorded, produced, or written, I can give you insight there too. I'm no professional there by any means, but trust me, I've done my research.

I'm always looking to learn new instruments, new languages, new foods, and just get cultured as much as I can anywhere I go. Surprise me!

I can share my knowledge of where I've been and people I've met, anything music related, random facts that are completely irrelevant. If you're headed somewhere in the U.S. and need somewhere to see or some conecctions there, ask me. I can probably recommend a place or person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to play you some songs, or hangout and just chat. Always up for trying out restaurants with people. If you need something picked up or dropped off, I always like being a courier. Very handy, so if you need something done at your place or help with a hands-on project, let me know. I always like to feel I've payed for my stay in one way or another.
