About Me
Hello, I'm Dylan! I live in a big old yellow house in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a great group of five friends. I work as a real estate developer and focus specifically on affordable housing, housing individuals who have struggled with homelessness, and partnering with individuals who have interesting ideas on non-traditional housing. I occasionally use my real estate licence to help my friends buy houses, and even less occasionally help other people fix up their houses (I'm usually busy fixing up my own). The most recent project idea that I'm working towards is buying rural land and building a cabin up north. In my spare time I work on my non-profit the Twin Cities Ecovillage Project (https://tcecovillage.org/) and help with Detoxifying Masculinity, a men's group centered around healing men from the negative parts of masculinity and boosting the positive parts. I like reading, board games, good conversation, hiking, and anything outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing to meet new interesting people and reduce the cost of traveling. I think that people generous enough to offer their homes and spaces to others for free are probably some of the most worth while to know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to work as a cave explorer and mapper for the Tongass National Forest in Alaska. While there, my coworker and I discovered and mapped a huge cave that had never been explored before.
