Overview
About Me
I'm currently travelling in Western Europe for the summer. This has been a dream for mine for a few years and it has been wonderful to have the opportunity to finally do so.
Back home in Canada I work at a fancy restaurant and often get to serve celebrities (most of them are far nicer than the gossip would have you believe). I'm passionate about food and drink and I'm looking forward to all the delightful things that Europe has to offer in both categories.
I'm young at heart and am always up for trying something new. I love live music, theatre, art and architecture and I'm hoping to indulge in all these things on my trip
Finally I'm a feminist and believe in inclusivity, and acceptance for all people regardless of gender, skin colour or pretty much any other silly thing people like to be prejudice about. If you aren't an inclusive and accepting person, I hope that education changes that for you, but I'm probably not your guy right now
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm travelling around Europe for the summer and I'm interested in meeting new people and getting to see as much as I can on this beautiful continent

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most kinds of music (not that into country) with a preference for alt and classic rock, and electronic
Good sci-fi and anime are favourite movie genres and I've really been into the whole Marvel movie project, but I can get into watching pretty much anything
As for books - most books are good books in my opinion. My fiction leans towards fantasy and sci-fi, while my non-fiction tends to be about food, philosophy, art and current events
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Japan as an English teacher for three years which was one of the best experiences of my life
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a fair bit about food and drink, but I'm always eager to learn more. I'm also relatively knowledgeable about art, and theatre. As well as being full of strange and esoteric bits of knowledge about all manner of trivial oddities
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm easygoing, respectful and tidy. I'm happy to help keep my host's place clean and help out around the house however I can. I'm happy to share whatever knowledge I may have that may interest people and I love to cook for others from time to time
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, England, India, Ireland, Japan, Scotland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam, Wales
