I am a Londoner who, having grown tired of rainy London, decided to move to tropical Hamburg.

I finally have an apartment big enough to have a sofa for people to surf.

I enjoy good food, good drink and good conversations:
Although my standards are maybe quite low, having grown up in England (world renowned for our wonderful food and drink), and studied Civil Engineering (famous for our riveting conversation).

Cooking; English/Jamaican food. Also home brewing ginger beer and country wine.

Sport; mostly Football and Cricket, but anything really

Walking around aimlessly; so am probably not the best host for quick and efficient tours of the top attactions, but if you want to find the not particularly interesting or attractive corners of Hamburg, I would be happy to lead.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Since moving to Germany, my main connection to home is through music, so I listen mostly to UK Bass music and sometimes a bit of Dancehall. There is quite a lot of live music in Hamburg, and I go to various live jazz nights here quite often.
