Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything GTB, lots of 80s-90s college rock, lots of hip-hop. Grew up on crust punk and BM but not so much of that anymore.
Movies: Europa, There Will Be Blood, anything Wes Anderson. Lots of documentaries.
Books: tons of 20th-century leftist stuff, Hemingway, Turgenev, Tolstoy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, after a bad bike accident in 2010 I was told I'd never walk again.
A year later I was back to work as a bike messenger!
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach guitar for a living! Happy to share a few tricks.
I'm also good with bike maintenance and computers and would love to share those skills. There are usually spare bikes and laptops around my house, should someone need to borrow one while in town!
I'd love help with my (rudimentary at best) Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A big, comfy couch, friendship, and a warm shower.
I'm open to the idea of cooking group dinners and things of that nature too!
