I'm a Texan, born and raised! I've lived in big cities and small towns. My ¨stomping groups¨ are a small town on the outskirts of Houston called Tomball, TX. You could say that adventure is my middle name. I am always up for a good adventure and love to experience new things.

I just graduated from Rice University in Houston, TX with a degree in Psychology and Managerial Studies.

Right now I'm traveling through the Eastern US, soaking my last few weeks of freedom before I start my job in management consulting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to get to know locals and share experiences with people from all across the world. I believe that everyone has some knowledge and experience that I don´t and it´s through the sharing of this experience that connections are made and friendships are born.
When I am old and my time on this world is almost over, I want to look back and be satisfied with the way that it went. I'm a free spirit who needs to roam. When I travel and go someplace new is when I feel most alive. I am very grateful to this website for giving me the opportunity to do what I love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had heard one day that former president Jimmy Carter had a Sunday School class back in his hometown that he did every other Sunday. The class was open to anyone who wanted to participate, all you had to do was show up. Knowing that Jimmy Carter was in his 90s and probably didn´t have much time left on this earth I decided one weekend that I was finally going to make the trip to see him, so I hopped in my car and drove 12 hours strait overnight from Houston to Plains, Georgia and then drove 12 more hours back the next day. Suffice it to say, I was very tired at the end of it, but it was well worth the trip!

Escuché un día que un presidente antiguo de los EEUU Jimmy Carter tenía una clase de la iglesia cada dos semanas y que cualquira pudiera asistir a su clase. En luz de que Jimmy Carter tenía más que noventa años y que no le quedaba mucho tiempo decidí un fin de semana que por fin iba a hacer el viaje por coche a verle. Entonces, manejé por coche durante doce horas desde Houston a Plains, Georgia y luego manejé doce horas más el próximo día. ¡Baste decir que tenía mucho sueña pero valío la pena!
