About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep an open mind, get really good at music, and find ways to give back

ABOUT ME

I'm an up-beat college student from Seattle who's working to become a professional producer.

PHILOSOPHY

I have an existential outlook. I think our universe is beautiful and basically meaningless, so we all get to define the meaning in our own lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time couch surfing. I live in a dorm at the moment, so I can't host, but I can share my stories and thoughts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None before!

Interests

Music is my biggest passion. I am particularly interested in electronic and indie music that has been coming out over the last few years. Buddhist philosophy also means a lot to me. I am a nerd at heart and love conversations about big picture subjects like the multi-verse and the future of Earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a big garden in my back yard one summer and spent weeks just digging up sod. The vegetables were all the tastier for it though!
I also helped rehabilitate howler monkeys from captivity for life in the wild in Parque Ambue Ari, Bolivia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just learned that the visible universe is a sphere about 13.7 billion light years in radius because the the big bang took place 13.7 billion years ago and light from any further away would not have had time to reach us yet. Furthermore, if you look 13.7 billion light years in any direction you can "see" the big bang as photons from the early universe reach earth ... Trippy.
