About Me

Hey!
I'm Dylan, an Canadian guy from a small town in southwest Ontario.

When I'm not out exploring a new environment or grabbing a few beers with new friends I enjoy being creative and building things. I sometimes write and take photographs. I generally love all forms of travel, but road trips are probably my favourite.

I've got a wide variety of interests and consider myself very laid-back and open-minded. Very much a go with the flow kinda guy.

Some of my favorite quotes:
"Buy the ticket, take the ride!" - Hunter S. Thompson

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” - Hunter S. Thompson

"If man is to survive, he will have learned to take a delight in the essential differences between men and between cultures. He will learn that differences in ideas and attitudes are a delight, part of life's exciting variety, not something to fear." - Gene Roddenberry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buying a barely functioning bicycle in Cabo San Lucas and heading north. No plans and no destination. Sleeping on the ground at night and surviving off 2 dozen tortillas and a jar of peanut butter.
I learned a lot out there in the Baja desert.
