About Me

I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Kinesiology. I am now living back in Tulsa and taking the year off from school until I leave for Scotland to pursue a Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning. I really enjoy hiking, traveling, and most things that are active. I travel a lot, my most recent adventure included spending thirteen days in Europe where I traveled to Austria, Slovakia, and Italy to spend Christmas with my cousin. Afterwards, I spent another week in New York with my relatives for New Years Eve. I'm a really mellow guy and as long as you have good vibes it should be good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling all my life and I intend to do it until I no longer can and would like to meet as many interesting people as I can during my travels.

Interests

I spend most my time either doing brazilian jiu jitsu, traveling, doing yoga, hiking, or lifting weights. I have been doing brazilian jiu jitsu for over eight years now which has resulted in several injuries but, regardless, I've enjoyed every moment of it. I've travelled quite a bit over my 23 years of existence including; Ireland, the U.K., Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Slovakia,Canada, Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and also about 26 different states within the U.S. would love to hit all 50 at some point. I just recently started doing yoga due to frequent injuries from weight lifting and jiu-jitsu but, I'm starting to really enjoy it and hope to continually improve until I can be like Wim Hof. Speaking of Wim Hof, hiking with him up a mountain in only shorts is now part of my bucket list. The best experience I've had hiking has been going up Bell Rock in Sedona and backpacking in the Grand Canyon going from rim to river to rim. The next adventure will hopefully to either hike part of the Appalachian Trail, the Smoky Mountains, or Yosemite.
