Overview
About Me
I have many different interests. I have played the drums for over a decade, but since I was little I have always been drumming on things with my hands. I have played in many one-time gigs over my "drumming career", but currently I am looking to join a more regular band and start giving drum lessons in my community.
I have played various sports over my lifetime; golf, baseball, snowboarding, ping pong, pool, and more, with golf being my favorite. My friend and I are looking to become members at one of our local golf courses.
I currently have a customer service job that allows me to travel and have a lot of free time to pursue my interests. I want to see the whole world before I die, but other than that, I'm not sure what I want to do with the rest of my life. I am trying to figure that out, but I am quite happy with what I have got going right now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to find places to stay and to meet new people. Hotels are overkill for my needs, as I am perfectly comfortable sleeping next to highways on my bicycle tours, so staying at someone's place is already a luxury in comparison. I would love to host people, as I think Couchsurfing is a great thing to which I want to contribute, but I currently have a very unfinished room I am renting that would not be a great place to host. I like to meet people and make connections while I am traveling. Lots of my trips are pretty crazy, so I do quite a few on my own—therefore Couchsurfing seems to be a great way to meet people from all parts of the world and not be alone.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love ska, pop-punk, jazz and funk, along with many other styles of music. Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Blink-182, Green Day, and jazz and funk bands such as Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck, and Flim and the BB's being some of my favorites.
I consume movies and books occasionally, with the internet and YouTube being the main sources of education and entertainment for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed a 700 mile bicycle tour to Astoria, OR and back from my home in Walla Walla, WA.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can sleep in a bucket. Haha not really, but I do sleep on the floor everyday, so all I need is a space on the floor or in the yard if I have my tent to sleep. I promise to be the best guest I can be, and to treat you with respect. There is nothing I am expecting from you that I feel entitled to.
