Hi! I'm Dylan. I was born in Iceland and have also lived in Scotland and the United States. I have always had an interest in the languages and cultures of other people. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2022, I began working in the financial industry in Boston, USA.

I enjoy sports like judo, wrestling, and ice hockey. I'm also a student pilot!

Couchsurfing seems like a good way to help others learn English or Icelandic while having an opportunity to visit and learn from others around the world. I believe that connecting with locals is the best way to have a genuine cultural experience!

Music: I have a diverse interest in music: Jazz, Rock, Opera, and much more! I would love to talk about music with you.

Movies: I enjoy science fiction as well as film noir (such as Blade Runner [1982] or Double Indemnity [1944] ). There are too many great movies to name.

Books: I enjoy reading philosophy (Nietzsche in particular).
