Overview
About Me
I only recently had time to update my profile "Veni, Vedi, Vici"- Julius Caesar I am a 22 year old recent graduate with two degrees traveling the world trying to help and study everything and everyone I can. I spent 5 months in Israel and 1 Month in Palestine trying to better understand the life of people living in a state of uncertainty. I also have lived a month in Italy working with a couple who houses asylum seekers and operates a bread and breakfast as well as a month traveling Greece trying to see the center of ancient western philosophy. I am an academic at heart but a fun loving and free spirit. I am open to any and all concepts of life and try to garner as much information as I can. I love to cook, to converse, read, and go out although the latter of the bunch is tricksy given funds. I am currently learning French and take it seriously, and I know some Hebrew and a little Spanish. I would love to tell more upon request!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on here because I love to meet new people and I love avoiding tourist traps. I love learning and experiencing cultures and places for more than what is found in a Fodor travel book.

Music, Movies, and Books
To many to post but more than happy to talk about!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have camped in the desert with Beduins, Repelled 100meters off a cliff, Rafted the Jordan river, ran from the Olympic stadium in Athens to the Acropolis proper, rode camels, lived within a kilometer from Gaza, and walked 48 kilometers from Umbria Provence to Florence and saw the Italian countryside.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about local culture and other interesting factoids you have acquired! I can share cooking knowledge, building knowledge, other practical skills as well as academic and travel knowledge I have gathered.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share as much as I can but most practically my experiences, company, laughter and cooking skills.
