Overview
About Me
Longtime chef and gardener who went back to school to finish a degree in horticulture. I love cooking, eating, drinking, hunting, fishing, foraging, and martial arts. I have traveled pretty extensively, and I have hosted in the past, and have found that there are great, friendly people in every part of the world. I am hoping to meet more of y'all :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have an apartment that I think is cool enough to share, and I enjoy making connections with people, especially travelers.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Louisiana Cajun/Creole cooking, how to forage for mushrooms in the Gulf South, basic martial arts routines; I want to learn what food is like where you are from, what kind of things you are into, tips for mindfulness and meditation, fun games you know, how to dance; I want to share stories and experiences with people who are open to both
What I Can Share with Hosts
My apartment (with a cozy couch), delicious food from both myself and nearby restaurants, differing (but always interesting) experiences depending on the season, intellectual conversation
