I'm a 23-year old student of special needs education (training to become a teacher specialized in people with disabilities). I grew up in Berlin in a German-British family and have lived here most of my life. I have great passion for music since my childhood and love writing my own songs, starting out with Indie and now producing my own hip-hop beats. I have been living in shared flats since I'm 19 and love hanging out and living with people I feel close too. I have discovered a strong passion for film recently and have been shooting my own music videos and short films. I love all forms of art that I feel are expressive and move me in some way. I also have a strong interest in working in the field of social work and somehow influencing the way people live together in society. This is why I would like to become a teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I love most about traveling is the feeling of adventure and the possibility of discovering a new culture and people living in different ways and viewing the world in a different way. This is why I find couchsurfing to be really cool, because it is a very easy way of getting to know local and likeminded, open people who can give you an inside perspective of the place they call their home. I love the fact that it works without money, not just because it means you can cut costs, but also because it means people who use it are solely interested in meeting new people and not it earning anything by doing so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of hip hop from the US from the 90's, but also some interesting contemporary artists (like mick jenkins, isaiah rashad or kendrick lamar). I also love traditional music from many different african and asian cultures, as well as south american jazz and classical music. I'm pretty open about music as long as its special and interesting in some way.
I love independent films from all over the world.
I like all kinds of genres of books including a lot of classic literature which tends to be amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I take my guitar with me a lot and love playing with other people. I also love recommending music and films, that have touched me! I'm also quite good at cooking nepali food :)
