About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Leaving South Korea and trying to find a non-flying route back to North America via Asia and Europe. Mr Polo is my inspiration!

ABOUT ME

I'm all about being outdoors. I lived/worked/climbed in Yosemite for 4 years and it was a life changer. I tend to enjoy activities that let me be outside such as Ultimate Frisbee, Climbing, snowboarding, camping etc. I am trying to see as much of this planet (and maybe others, come on NASA!) as I can whilst I'm here. My favorite thing about travelling is hearing the different view points of people with different upbringings. Well that and seeing new scenery and making new friends. I'm also in for chill activities such as wine and chess (the perfect combo) or eating. Actually I love eating.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do on to others" + "pay it forward" + "it's never a good time so it's always the best time" + scientific method = my personal philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I am new to CS.org I have been doing this for quite a while. I have hosted dozens of friends and there hangers on at my home in Busan, South Korea. I will be leaving here and heading west very soon though and hope to use cs.org to both save money and meet locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hard to choose a best experience. I would say couchsurfing with our entire team in gyeungju would be one of the top moments. Waking up and making blueberry pancakes before going out to the riverside for a frisbee tournament. Was a great day. Also sleeping on the floor of Dan Braha's tent cabin in Yosemite was an awesome experience. Really to many to count let alone recount. More to come soon!
