ABOUT ME
I am 25. I have a degree in Education and would like to be teaching high school government, US history and geography. I have a passion for travel and have the opportunity to fulfill my dream of traveling around Europe this summer because of different things happening in my life. I enjoy sports and being athletic. I enjoy challenging myself and seeing how far I can push myself mentally and physically. I enjoy being outdoors. I am growing out my rat tail because I think it is cool. One of my Christmas presents from my parents was a sleeping bag and I slept in it on my bed, in my house, for the next week testing it out. One of my favorite authors is Ernest Hemingway. The Sun Also Rises really inspired me to travel and Pamplona will be one of the locations I visit.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
When I worked at a Nike Factory Store I had the opportunity of flying to Georgia to run with Jason Lester. Jason Lester is an ultra athlete and he was running/biking across the United States to promote Nikes Better World Campaign. He was on his 3rd day of 4, running 30+ miles each day. Along with a couple of other guys from the store we flew in, went to bed, and then woke up and ran with him. That day I ran 27.2 miles with the ultimate pacesetter. One of my proudest moments of my life because I know what I pushed myself through to complete that day of running.
Another awesome event in my life was when I went to Keith Urban and John Mayer at The Gorge in Washington state on the Columbia River. Loud music, outdoors on a beautiful summer night, and beer, contributed to a great experience. I have also gone to Blind Pilot, The Head and the Heart and The Shins at Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love music, especially live music and will look for opportunities on my travels to get to shows of bands popular in Europe.
