Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Build a better world through good design.
ABOUT ME
I'm a designer from Detroit, Mi who works with startups and community organizations to build a better world through design. I run a design firm in Detroit called Wedge Detroit. I love to do work with great people from all over the world, and I'm a sucker for a good story. I'd consider myself a fairly creative person, and a pretty handy one, too. I'm constantly making things and experimenting with new ideas and concepts.
PHILOSOPHY
Do good and be good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking to do more couchsurfing, meet some fun people, as well as possibly host and meet with people when I'm not traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed a few times with friends, and have always had a good time. I love getting a perspective about the city from someone who lives here, and this is probably the best way to do it!
Interests
I spend my time doing art, graphic design, and product design. I enjoy creating things with my hands and talking about big ideas. When I get the chance, I also love to camp and backpack.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Harold and Maude, Documentaries, any Coen Brothers or David Fincher. I'm also a big fan of anything sci-fi.
Music: A wide range of electronica to folk, classic rock to jazz. I'm a sucker for a slide guitar, too.
Books: Any design books by Donald Norman, Kurt Vonnegut novels, Catch-22, A Brave New World.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've broken a world record for building the world's longest hopscotch course (3.75 miles, 2012)
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're at all interested about design, I'm your man. I'd love to show you a thing or two about photoshop, illustrator, or webdesign. If you're really ambitious, I teach printmaking and some product design, too.
