About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have fun, be happy, travel, play, surf

ABOUT ME

I was born in Kailua, Hawaii (Oahu). I am a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii and received a BA in Sustainable Development and Spanish. I am a conservationist, surf addict, and love an adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

If you try you may fail, if you don't you already have. My personal philosophy is to always be happy and figure out how to do this on a day to day basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a few people in Peru and Ecuador who gave me wonderful tours of their cities.

Interests

My passions are surfing, traveling, and chocolate. I have been surfing all my life and will continue doing this as long as I live. Traveling goes well with this because there is a whole lot of coast out there and most of it has surf. Chocolate is a lot of fun because I really enjoy going through the process of manufacturing a product into something everyone appreciates.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Power of One is an amazing book and I really liked the Alchemist too. Confessions of an Economic Hitman, the Flashman series, Lord of the Rings. For music I like Sublime, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, black keys i just started listening to Portugal The Man, and lots more. I really enjoy action movies like the Bourne Identity and Boondock Saints, I really liked Slumdog Millionaire. I guess anything that isn't super cheesy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfing in Indonesia, Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu, Study abroad in Chile for 5 months, a free trip to Israel for 11 days, 12 hour drunk layover in Tokyo, hiked the Kalalau Trail on Kauai, 2 month surf trip to Costa Rica with Dad and Brother, Graduate from University.....
