Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Play music around the world!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in Virginia, moved to California for school, and then San Francisco. I've worked in the Corporate world for 5 years and have quit that to pursue my life dreams of playing music and traveling!
My first of many trips goes from NYC to Paris and then wherever the rail and wind takes me! I'm excited for the adventure of a lifetime and want to make friends all over!
I'm a passionate and enthusiastic person, love to have fun and meet new people!
PHILOSOPHY
Spiritually: When lost completely in performing music it's as if I'm watching the music happen for me, that I'm not in control. Maslow calls it Unconsious Competence, but it feels more like a direct link to God, whoever she is.
Also, follow your dreams, take risks.

Sooo- Springsteen, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Zeppelin, Ty Segall, Bob Dylan, LCD Soundsystem, Kings of Leon, Clifton Chenier, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Ahmad Jamal, Mozart, Coltrane, Tuneyards, Nicki Minaj (see I like everything, but not equally), Japandroids, Robert Johnson, Stones, Beatles, Death From Above, etc. etc. etc.
Movies: The Last Waltz, How the West was Won, Hook, Superbad, I don't know, I don't think about movies too much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few choice times performing music will be the most amazing thing I've ever done. Rare moments where everything dissappears.
Meeting living blues legend Buddy Guy in Chicago. Icing on the cake of the best 3 days of blues I've ever seen.
Also, being at sea in a small boat, with no visible land, when a huge pod of dolphins approach the boat and swarm around it, sitting on the deck of the boat looking down at hundreds of dolphins (porpoises). General underwater life is always the most amazing stuff I've ever seen...
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied Latin... But I want to learn French, Spanish and Portugese, starting with French... I'm practicing on my own, but am really bad! Please accept my apology, but I will do my best to learn quickly!
