Overview
About Me
Currently spending some time on exchange in London studying at UCL till June 2020! I'm from Canada, where I study neuroscience at McGill University in Quebec. Big lover of music, running, climbing, any sort of outdoor expedition, and of course, information about ze brain is very cool! Tryna see the breadth of UK, would love any sort of thoughts on where I should go :)
Also happy to host in my residence - but I only have floor space, so you may be more comfortable with a sleeping pad and sleeping bag (I only have one blanket) if you have! (i have a yoga mat I can put down for you) I am located in central London though, so it'd be a nice base to jump off of if you wanted to explore the city!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Of course to find some cool spots to spend the night, but also just to meet some new people, get more of a local experience. I think one of the biggest parts of travelling is simply getting the chance to meet people from all over the world, have some fun conversations, learn learn learn!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Andy Shauf, recently became a super-lover of The Beatles, Aldous Harding, Unknown Mortal Orchestra Big Thief, Jacob Collier, Elliot Smith, Badbadnotgood, Kendrick Lamar -- would love to chat more about music!
Authors: Rohinton Mistry, Anthony Doerr, Donna Tartt, José Saramago
Love to hear about new authors or artists (and ideas) to explore!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Planted a bunch of trees in the summer (150,000)! It's sort of a funny culture in Canada, would love to tell people about how it all works :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would always love to chat about music, or jam or something! Also, just talking about travels, get some advice on where to go in this world!
I would love to learn some French (disappointing yes, that I am Canadian and don't know much).
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I mentioned, I would love to share some knowledge on music, or travelling. Of course, I would also be super game to lend a hand in any way possible! Also, if you have any questions about the brain, and what makes us do things, how we perceive the world from a physiological and philosophical sense.
