Hi there!

First up, I did have references but sadly I learnt the lesson of sharing an account the hard way.. maybe marriage won't be for me :)

I grew up in Melbourne and ticked all the boxes to become an engineer and work in the field for 5 years, but I've just left my work and am currently embarking on a trip around the world via Europe, Africa, India, and Europe again (darn Schengen visa!).

As with all couchsurfers I've caught up with so far, I'm open minded and love experiencing new things. I can find something in common with anyone, and I particularly like meeting up with people and experiencing what their passionate about.

Meeting people at hostels can sometimes only get you so far.. I'm really using this as a platform to meet locals, and other tourists with a similar travelling philosophy to mine.

Also throughout travelling I'd like to sleep on some couches to experience the local life and of course subsidise some of my accommodation costs!
