So I have spent the last few years going to school and working in order to get into and get through graduate school. Before I go back to school, I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone and have some great new experiences, and anyone who wants to be part of that is welcome to join.

I am going to be backpacking through northern Europe for a few weeks. I've never done much traveling, so it would be great to have people to show me all the great things about their area. I'd love to meet some cool people who want to share some good life experiences.

Update: My Euro-trip was amazing, and I couchsurfed the whole way through (I think I had 7 hosts total, in four different countries). I had such a great experience and met some amazing people in the process. Because of every host's hospitality that I came across, I would love to do the same for fellow travelers. Meeting a cool local and having an opportunity to save money is a huge plus when you are traveling and makes the experience so much greater.

And if anyone is rolling through this area, I'd be willing to show someone around the Seattle area. I don't actually go to the actual city a ton, but I have a few go to spots and activities to do down there.

I like a bit of every type of music. I love any music that has a good beat that I can get down to or just relax to. I like music to be able to put me in a good mood. There are a ton of bands that I like, but here are some of my favorites: OkGo, Awolnation, Hozier, Jet, Audioslave, Dr. Dre, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Tom Petty, Queen, and the Offspring.

I love most movies. Comedy, action, thriller, deep thinking movies, and anything that has a story that can hold my attention. Some of my favorites are the Dark Knight movies, Django Unchained, Fight Club, Anchorman, Step Brothers, Grandma's Boy, Inception, I Am Legend, Guardians of the Galaxy, Pulp Fiction, the Prestige, and World's Greatest Dad.

I'm not a huge reader, but my favorite books are Choke and Fahrenheit 451.

I've played on a semi-professional paintball team and played in several tournaments across the U.S. Not sure which one was better, but winning events in Huntington Beach, somewhere else in California that I don't remember, and Chicago were the most amazing things I've done.

And I recently went on a month-long road trip around the entire United States, which was an incredible adventure.
