ABOUT ME

Welcome!
My name is Edo and I'm from Holland. I live near Rotterdam (about 30 mins by car to the centre) in a neat little village. I live on my own in a house with a nice garden.

I work as a teacher in this area and before I used to do some research at a technical university every once in a while.

I can accommodate two people, or more if they are ok with sleeping on an air mattress. Unfortunately I work long days so if you want to visit, it has to be during the weekend or while I have school holidays. Sunday I attend church and you are most welcome to join; we have a translation service to English, in fact I am one of the people who do the translations! At request we also have translation service to French and we sing an English song nearly every week!

I'm a vegetarian, so a bit difficult with food every now and than! On the other hand, every week I have people who gladly come to my place for a meal and I do enjoy cooking for others! So if you visit I will make a wonderful meal for you, trust me! I am famous for my secret red cabbage recipe and my pancakes! :) I have made pancakes in nearly all the countries I visited! I might just one day open an international pancake-restaurant-chain!

Offering people a place to sleep and asking to stay at other people's place if I have the chance to travel myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined my friend Jeroen several times when he was couchsurfing. Now that I have a place of my own I decided to host people as well!
