ABOUT ME

I'm a guy living in couple and working a lot (I have three jobs, so...)
Meliha (my love) is student in archaeology and anthropology. She shares many of my passions.
We love travelling, and "adventure". When we go somewhere, we usually prefer to visit the city, the area, the nice places, etc than go out in nightclub or cinema, etc...
But cause I studied Education and Theatre, this two domains made exception : I'm very interested in museum, monuments and arts or theatre show.

We have a cat who's called Brynhild (name of a Walkyria, scandinave war goddess, because of her claws) =)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm quite epicurean. I try to take all the fun, the pleasure, the groove off I can! But I like to calm down and rest too. I just want to feel good.
I love philosophy, and resuming mine on here won't be possible, cause I build myself on all I know, read, live. I try to be as open-minded as I can, and to be honnest, I think succeed rather well this at least.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I answer every couch request I get ASAP, I try to host as many as I can. If I can't, I always enjoy showing city or just hangout for a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We now have hosted some people, but never been hosted. We like to share our knowledge about city or history, and we try to take our host as often as possible for a "city discovery trip".
Unfortunately, we are student, so we can absolutely NOT host during our tests periods (December-January, May-June). We apologize. But you'll be welcome at any other period if you ask early enough ;)

Interests

Theatre is my life, but all form of art interest me. I used to draw, but not so many. I love to play the piano and to compose my own music.
I love travelling too, because it helps me on creativity, and I like to discover new places, new faces, new cultures, new philosophy (to adapt mine with what I found in the other).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Narnia, the Name of Rose, almost all Disney, Van Helsing, Kerity, King Arthur, ... and too many other...
Music : much too many. I love classical music (Mozart, Beethoven, Lully, Brahms, Chopin, ...) as rock (RHCP, Elvis, Superbus, Kill the Young), and for me, the perfect mixt between them is Symphonic Metal (Tristania, Nightwish, Draconian, Epica, Rhapsody of Fire).
Books : I read one or two books a week, when I'm not studying or go to some friend's party... So I'm really unable to give names, cause I love nearly all I've read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible thing I've seen : a road. A simple road with a really wide opened land... That was so beautiful and attractive...
The most incredible thing I've done : well...I don't know. Many things come to my minde :
- To walk with a friend at three o'clok in the morning on the Namur Castle Round Path, and when the guard call us, we start running to the wood...
- To wait for the sunrise, sitting at the foot of a Burgundian virgin peak at 593 meters above sea level , and watch it slowly up its fiery sphere in the sky. That looks like a "northern lights" in miniature.
- To stay all the night long (almost) in the wood to hear the call of the deer.
- Writing the score for a short animated movie, or record voices in a sound studio for a theatre show

And, I hope, many more are coming.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : well... Speaking technics, drawing, music playing and writing (improvising), history of arts or middle age specification.
Learn : all I can learn is welcome!
Share : teaching and learning isn't it already a kind of share?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can propose my knowledge about Belgium, which will be completed by my lovely girlfriend (who's studying archaeology and history). I can give advices about what to see in Belgium, or good places to be according to what you are looking for.
