About Me

After some years of absence, I am back on Couchsurfing!

I'm a PhD Student living and learning in Munich, Bavaria.

I would describe my self as an easy going, kind, open minded and funny guy.

My current mission is to learn, meeting people, having fun and traveling the world at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my journeys, one day I noticed that all countries, all cities and all places are more or less the same. Don't get me wrong, every place in the world has beautiful landscapes, views and all, but that is not what matters. What matters, what makes a place and your memories special is the people you meet and hang out with, the experiences and talks you share. You do not get that totally different, unique experience when staying in a hotel, hostel or even with Air Bnb, this happens only on couchsurfing. Sharing is why I participate.

Interests

I love to go biking, snowboarding, scuba diving, climbing, cooking, photographing, hanging out with friends, partying all night and - of course - go traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies, but my favorites are pretty much all Tarantino movies, Leon, Fight Club, Persepolis, Big Fish, Star Wars, Matrix and Clockwork Orange.

I'm a big fan of electronic music (Minimal, Deep House, Tech House) DJ, so of course I love raving. But I also like to listen to alternative rock, rockabilly, electroclash, indie and punkrock.

My book genre literature is hard Sci-Fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Arriving Tokyo, JP, as my first alone-journey and getting completely overwhelmed by that city.

Completing my first Solo Flight at pilot school in Goodyear, AZ.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good talks, my experiences, the german language, some nice self-cooked meals and most important - fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
