About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Read as much as I can!
ABOUT ME
I love challenge and my perfect trip would include long rides of bus or train, long walks in the nature and a joyful, easy-going company :) I love rain, snow, mud, narrow paths, puddles in the middle of the road... anything that makes it more difficult, because in the end of a hardship there is a greater sense of accomplishment.
PHILOSOPHY
If you don't catch your train that you were so desperately running for, it's not the end of the world - maybe it was destined to crash... or maybe in the next train you will trip over the love of your life...
If a person shouts at you, maybe he puts his anger onto you because he cannot put it onto his little, squeaking children that trouble him at home... If a person looks darkly at you, maybe it is because he is remembering a quarrel with his boss in work...
Never take anything for granted - nobody can know what is happening in the other person's head. Never!

Music, Movies, and Books
While living in Nepal, I tried to learn about the surrounding culture and history. During this time I read Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, The Tibetan Art of Positive Thinking and an account of Gurkha (Nepali warriors) history. Right now I am perusing Game of Thrones fan fiction "The North Remembers" as I am not able to await the Winds of Winter by George Martin himself.
As for the music - everything that raises spirit and makes blood run faster.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most favorite spot on Earth that I never get bored of discovering again and again is the coast of Daugava during the evenings in Skriveri Dendrological Park near my home.
Apart from my hometown, the most amazing dawn that I have ever experienced was on Mohare Dande with Himalaya range in full view and sun slowly dipping the tops of these monumental titans in warm morning glow.
