Hi ! I'm Nolwen and I'm 24. I was born and raised in France more precisely in Bretagne. That means I really probably complain a lot, eat my butter with salt but also slightly hate my country. I share with my fellow citizen the need to be really sarcastic and critical. There it is for the dark side of my personality.

I studied law (that I hated) because I wanted to be a lawyer but I'm really passionate about having a life out of my work. I decided to study gender studies to both escape time and soul consuming career and fight for my ideas. I think it's already to late for the soul destroying part but it's fine. Humour will maybe save me.
I moved from Nantes to Bordeaux and love the city but still not my life. So, in a very original attempt (sarcasm) to finding the meaning of life, I went to South america. In fact I followed my franco-colombian best friend who decided to move there for I year. So we visited the country together for 2 month. Beautiful country, great people, insane music, I loved it.

I spend 5 month in Costa Rica for an internship in a feminist organization against domestic violence. After that great experience, I visited my partner's country, Brazil with her for a month.

I just moved to Québec, Canada and I love. France almost without French people. My next goal is to cross the country by roads in 2024.

Edit jan 2026: I DID cross Canada by road in 2025 but I went back to Quebec after two month. I'm planning to move to Vancouver in 2026.

I like to learn new langages and I think it's a good way to do it. I'm also really curious and love to learn about other way of living

Interests

I love walking during hours in the city and stop in book stores, coffee shop, small places where I can find little things that I can bring back from my trip. I also have a passion for food, restaurants ruin me.

I love reading my favorite authors are Colette, Marguerite Duras, Virginie Despentes, Ursula K. Le Guin, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Guy de Maupassant, Jules Verne, et j'ai adoré Les grandes de personnes de Michelle Maurois récemment.
Je suis une fan absolue de Stephen King également.
One of my dream is to go see the Overlook hotel we see in the Shining movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The lost city trek in Colombia has been the most amazing experience so far. Also falling in love in less than 24 hours and flying to Nashville to see the person 2 weeks after was great.
