About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible and avoid cubicles.
ABOUT ME
I'm a laid back guy from Oregon, on the west coast of the United States. I was actually born in Europe but have grown up in the States. I guess, by trade, I'm a mechanical engineer... but in reality I'm just a young guy traveling through different places trying to experience many different lifestyles. I'm a lover of all things, all kinds of people, all kinds of landscapes. My personality is diverse, as is my family background. I think this comes through in conversations you will have with me and the person you find I am. I like to think my personality is an amalgamation of everyone I've met and all the places I've seen. If you ask me what I live for, I'd probably tell you I live for cultures, landscapes, climbing mountains, riding my motorcycle, talking to new people, photographing unique moments and walking under clear, dark skies.
PHILOSOPHY
Shape what I have into what I want, whereas others are shaping what they want into what they have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel a fair amount, so I've been couchsurfing mainly. What I've offered to hosts in the past is doing some photography for whatever they'd like. I've been WWOOFing/HelpXing throughout my travels, so I'm always building/cleaning/organizing something for hosts. I love to help out around the house. My cooking isn't extraordinary, but I'll lend a helping hand whenever I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been on CS for a year or two, though most of that time has been spent travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music library is vast and extremely varied... I listen to a lot of things that most people haven't heard of. Just ask me about it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The last 50m to the summit of Ancohuma (6427m) in Bolivia was one of the most transcendental feelings I've ever felt.
