ABOUT ME

After a few years of working for environmental organizations in Canada (which included a lot of sitting infront of computers), I decided it was time to start using my hands and walking the talk. So 2009 became a year of learning skills -- growing and preserving food, green building (cob, dry stone walling), etc -- and looking at the kind of life that I want to lead. So far, it's been amazing...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch-surfing, and am currently in travel mode, exploring Europe/the UK, hoping to learn about farming, permaculture, green building, etc. I'm excited to host surfers when I've returned to Canada and have a couch to offer.

I'm a musician by training and am always looking for people to play and share music with. This year's endeavours include learning as many skills as I can. Baking bread, crocheting bags, building fences and cob ovens, growing food, foraging for wild foods... I'm eager to share and learn as much as I can along the way.
