About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading on a trip around the world with my husband. So excited for some time off together...!

ABOUT ME

I am 32 years old. Last summer, my love and I threw a wedding for ourselves (and friends and family) after building a house together. In the past 5 years I have:
moved to Vermont, started and closed a gluten free bakery (find "In Memory of Bread" - new book by Paul Graham I am featured in), got married, started going back to school for nursing.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is a beautifully, contradictory absurdity and filled with indisputably and unbelievably untold treasures.
I grew up with a Quaker mom, born-again christian Dad, brother with neuropathy and cerebral palsy, sister with incredible pipes, sense of humor, wisdom, and a sense of wonder. I love meeting new people and finding connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing in 2008 when I was traveling in California. Now, eight years later, my husband and I are heading around the world and excited to meet many many people.

Interests

I live with my partner in south central Vermont. We built a house a couple of years ago on a windy but beautiful hill top. We raise pigs occasionally and trae bacon for venison from our neighbors. My husband loves to play guitar and banjo and I like to pick the banjo some. I love to cook, and discover new delightful things to eat...
