ABOUT ME

Right now I'm exploring places I don't know, in me and in the environment around me. Explorations far away from my comfort zones, often feeling like a foreigner. I like being proven wrong about all my prejudices, about life, people and places. I grew up in London and now I'm in Calgary to study the brain and how it can go wrong.

Interests

Growing plants you can eat, eating plants you have grown. Drinking tea. Kung-fu. Eating cake. Talking about madness and reality. Being outdoors in the wilderness. Living a simple life with simple pleasures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The London underground can be a hostile and antisocial environment, and most people become suspicious when you make eye contact with them (this is one reason why I left). Though one day I was riding home on a train and a guy who looked like he didn't have a home was staring at a stunningly beautiful girl sitting opposite him, and she clearly started to appear uncomfortable from his stare. He then proceeded to take out a clipboard and paper and began to sketch a portrait of her. When he finished, he got up from his seat and walked off the train without saying anything. She seemed confused, and I was left with a revitalising feeling from the moments that can defy our expectations.
