About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience all the wonderful cultures of this world :)
ABOUT ME
Wow I haven't been on this site for a while.
Hey!
Been a while, been a while.
I'm Emily, a current Masters student at the University of Edinburgh, and hoping on staying indefinitely, but we'll see how that goes on ;)
Obviously love to travel, otherwise wouldn't be here, but have very little opportunity at the moment with lack of funds and time. However! Do enjoy experiencing other people, and their cultures, so even though I cannot host at the moment (tiny accommodation you see), and limited chances to travel, I'd still love meeting people who are passing through!
So yes, current full time student which means lots of reading and writing, but I also paint and art and such fun things. Give me a good night out at a pub with awesome, interesting people and couldn't be happier.
Oh, also originally from Missouri, USA, but that's rather quick to pick up on when you hear me talk haha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm just a surfer when I can. Live in a flat with four other people and one tiny, very uncomfortable, couch, so I won't put anyone through that.
So, hit me up if you happen to be passing through this incredible city. Always down for coffee/tea, or a night out!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Actually surfed here myself a few years back, usually I just go by hostel when traveling, but I sure did enjoy my experience.
Interests
This is a wide and wild ranging topic, so best to just meet me! Though pretty much I'm all about art and people, music, the strange and odd.... yeah, just too much, we'll talk about it ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ah, toughy. Mm, I'm gonna go with dancing with the Maasai women in Tanzania. Was there working with a small organization called Humanity for Children, was meeting with them to discuss possible future projects, and we were celebrating. Best ever.
