ABOUT ME
The world is a beautiful place, which continues to amaze me. I can really enjoy the small things - seeing a season change, smelling that rain has just fallen in summer, being tired but satisfied after a long day's work, they all are what life is about. In starting couch surfing, I hope to be able to improve on how to share such things with others - sharing means you get at least twice the life out of your own.
I drink my coffee pitch black, I pack my bags chaotically, I rather take the bicycle than the bus if I can, I play capoeira, my favourite sunday morning breakfast is a pair of oven fresh croissants, an egg, fruit juice and said coffee. My friends consider me friendly, supportive and outgoing, although I can seriously lack the ability to take initiatives at times. Even in those moments, though, I can thoroughly enjoy a game of chess, a cup of coffee, a good book or a loose conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
Address the awkwardness, and move on.

Interests
Let's see... I play capoeira, I'm interested in people and their stories in general, I like to go out and have a good time (although to be fair I'm not really a party animal in the 'go clubbing and get wasted' sense), but most of all I enjoy creating things and sharing positive energy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have read and liked: Zen and the Art & Lila, Musashi, Winnie the Pooh, Haroun and the sea of stories, anything else from Rushdie, Shadow of the Wind, Chaim Potok's Asjer Lev books, practically anything Vonnegut, Night train to Lisbon, Catch 22, Lord of the Rings, Calvin and Hobbes comics, Bill Bryson, Jared Diamond, Murakami, Orwell, The curious incident with the dog in the night time, Gombrich, The little prince, My life in the bush of ghosts, Sinfest, Dilbert, stuffy philosophy books.
Zombie horror movies, anything with a decent plot, the feelgood-type independent movies.
A very wide, and ever-growing, range of music, which runs from classical to african and brazillian percussion. Any good live band is also sure to receive an enthusiastic applause.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking across a carpet of freshly fallen snow on a completely silent, early new year's day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a trick or two on a skateboard, show you how to build a proper fire, show you how to put up a tent (I have been well-trained in this especially), and help out in training the languages I know.
