We're a bit of a crazy but happy couple of Belgians (Emma and Dieter) living in the center of Ghent city and loving it. We like to travel special or unusual routes like the iron curtain (eastern europe), route 66,...
We love Jules Verne and would like to follow in his footsteps going to the center of the earth.
We love everybody nice and openminded.

Make love not war, yes we drive a van, no we're not hippies.

we love books, shoes!!, and all other collectables. (Dieter once bought a whole collections of dices in all sizes and coulors just because then he had a collection without having to collect...)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a guest room that loves to be used and we like to meet people when travelling. Our mission states 'meet and greet' and that's really what we want to do. We like to get to know the people offering the couch we surf and the people that surf our couch. So if you are just looking for a place to sleep, we might not be the right hosts for you. When you want to surf our couch, send us a message and be sure to put the word 'pimpampoentje' in it somewhere so we know you read our profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Emma has done some in Australia and loved it! All very good experiences! Recently we did some in the US, very diverse but all very good times.
People couchsurf at our place all the time. Friends and friends of friends and... Recently we started getting requests, since then we met some really nice people and had a great time showing people around and getting to know them.
