About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I travel either to surf, snowboard, go sightseeing or dive. Yes, the activities are in descending order of preference, and I don't mean surfing in the couch or web sense, even though I'm very well aware they form the bedrock of this project
Update: I am so glad there is a member since ... in description, cos the last time I logged in to CS, well, that was the last time I wrote this (2008). Since then, working life has taken far too much of my time, but I did manage to squeeze in my virgin Europe trip (to ex-Yugoslav states no less, how many can say that?!) and a couple China trips (family group tour type though, not much to mention in this context haha). So yeah, in case you're wondering why this profile looks so neglected, I was just waiting for CS to change its website design. And as of April 2016, I've already couchsurfed in Spain (would definitely want to go the other half round I missed the first time) and am looking for London now!
ABOUT ME
I'll just talk about where i've been to.
past 2 years - US, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan
Update: Yes, the above was written in 2008. As of April 2016, you can add Hong Kong to the list of countries I've already talked about so far.
PHILOSOPHY
My friend remarked the other day that life is too short. While I totally agree, does it mean that we try the crazy and dangerous stuff to prove to ourselves it's a life well-lived (and making it more likely it's too short a life), or should we "calm down" to have more time to truly live?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf on other people's couches and recommend them if they're good. And of course, the cultural exchanges. Totally up for it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Does staying in hostels count? But did a couple in Spain.
