About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After having been in college for 10 years I just want to explore the beauty the world has to offer and meet interesting and fun people to share the fun times. So got rid of everything, bough a nice backpack and camera and set off to the adventure of a lifetime all around the world. May 1, 2016 will mark my 3 year anniversary.
ABOUT ME
I have been a student for way too long. I have had a lot of fun along the way and I have met a lot of great and amazing fun people on my travels. I am a bit of an aviation geek and love planes and anything related. I am a pilot and worked as an engineer for an airline, and air traffic controller, and an international airport. Also developed a love for photography and enjoy sharing my photos with others. I have been inspired to visit so many places, and it all started with a simple photo. It is really powerful
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get a more local and personal experience as seen from the eyes of someone who has been drenched in the culture of the place. To share, lesrn, and realise that while we are so different, we are the same.
Interests
My main interest is aviation in general and of course to travel and meet people from other cultures, experience other foods, and enjoy the natural beauty of each place. I love doing outdoor activities like kayaking, trekking, rafting, and love love camping, which is probably why New Zealand has been my favourite country so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
I pretty much like everything from classical, to pop, to Disney (lived an hour away from the parks)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After traveling the world continuously for 3 years, it is really hard yo pick one. I'll probably say it is to have hiked for 14 days to Everest base camp and back. I pushed myself to limits I didn't even know I had. I still don't know how I did it, but it is very satisfying looking back on it. I said I would probably wouldn't do something like that again and... I did. I summited Huayna Potosi in Bolivia, at 6,100m. It is the hardest thing ever so far, but once at the top, those views are so worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn everything I can from other cultures. Food, language, lifestyle, history. Share and teach everything I learn so others can experience things through my experiences and inspire people to go out and explore what's out there, it is beautiful!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories from my travel experiences and help with your spanish or english for those of you who are learning either one. I also like to cook and I like making creative meals kinda fusion from different parts of the world.
