Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Knowledge and compassion. Learning about the American way of life
ABOUT ME
I don't know - guess I'm ok.
PHILOSOPHY
I mostly follow the philosophy of Kant: that there is a inherent duty to be good and do good because we're human and that is what we are able to be ethical. Or: We do what we must because we can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By thinking and living by the consequences of that thinking: enjoying the time we have, recycling, keeping myself informed, traveling green, learning new stuff about the world. I'm open-minded, but like to think for myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have mainly been hosting, first with my flatmates, now that I moved out alone. Having a guest is a bit like going on a vacation at home ;)
Interests
Truth is beauty and science is the way to get to truth.
I like books, learning about the world and knowing how to do things.
Music, Movies, and Books
I read A LOT. Mostly prose: classical and modern litarature, philosophy, sci-fi and fantasy - though I don't want to commit to a genre. I also enjoy comics and graphic novels. Metal is my sound, but I am quite open. Oh yes, I love Star Trek.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Collaborating in the biggest adventure of them all: Humanity and our quest in the Universe.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to talk about the beginning of things and philosophical questions form a scientific viewpoint - is not curiosity the driving force of humanity and science is just the proper way to answer any question?
There are no questions science can't answer, just questions science can't answer yet - since science is just that process of answering.
