ABOUT ME

I began traveling a few years ago and love going to new places. I heard about couchsurfing through a friend and thought it would be a great way to spend a long weekend at various spots throughout the country.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in having an open-mind with everything and establishing thoughts/opinions on your own by experiencing things first hand.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently share an apartment with a friend and am unable to provide a couch. Hopefully, in the near future I will have my own place where I can offer travelers a place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed once, but it was on of the best experiences in my life.

I love criminal/gangster movies and TV shows - The Departed, Goodfellas, Casino, Boardwalk Empire, etc. I'm also a fan of Christopher Nolan who created Inception, The Dark Knight, and Memento.

My goal is to experience something new each year, no matter how dramatic or boring. Since I developed this mindset I've done the following.

Hiked Macchu Piccu.

Trekked on the Perito Moreno glacier in Argentina and visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay.

Skydiving and scuba diving in Hawaii.

Visited Chitzen Itza.

Road trip from Seattle to San Diego with two of my closest friends.

Took my father to see his father’s grave in New Mexico – neither of us had ever been before.

Went on a CrossFit trip in Iceland.
