ABOUT ME

Note: As of March, 2019 onward, I am traveling again. Currently in Cuba, island hopping in the Caribbean...

I write books and magazine articles and online content, and produce 3D games and videos and VR media. Subjects includes travel, science and technology, science fiction, and children's art. I also play outdoors, including running and bicycle riding. I love new ideas, and life improvements.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sometimes CouchSurf to interesting places, and I sometimes host. I also go to some CouchSurfing events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wide variety of art. Regardless of media, I especially like to come across new ideas.

For music, I mostly listen to electronic music, which I also produce. I also like pop/rock, although my tastes are quite eclectic.

For movies, I generally like science fiction, comedy, international, and music videos. Again, my tastes are quite eclectic.

For books, I like nonfiction on science, technology, travel, and self-development, as well as science fiction and fantasy. Perhaps here more than elsewhere, my tastes are eclectic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many special moments, although some experiences feel particularly amazing. Sunset on the beach consistently inspires! Sunrise too! :)

I've traveled extensively by bicycle, through much of the United States of America and Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the idea of exchanging knowledge. Topics I can teach include writing, riding, and living magically. I can also describe many of the cultural and geographic locations where I have traveled.

I hope to learn about different cultural, social, and technical domains. Particularly, cooking and language and local customs are areas where I like to learn from CouchSurfers.

What I Can Share with Hosts
