Overview
About Me
I grew up in Central Pennsylvania near the original location of Hershey's chocolate, which is called Derry Township, PA named for all the dairy farms in the area. There is also an amusement park, HersheyPark, which I worked at for several years. Its the sweetest place, literately.
Later in life I grew up and went to college to study business and then later engineering. I have no idea how I'm going to use both of those together and be successful.
But, I feel the purpose in life is to enjoy it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really loved how open it is and willing to share with others the opportunity to connect with others in a meaningful way. I joined CS not knowing what it was or how it worked. A few weeks later I was on a cross country road trip. CS offer so many opportunities to meet so many people I would not have met otherwise. Everyone who I have met in the past has done some sort of traveling and wanted to share that experience with others. Its a great chance to share my amazing stories with people.
Interests
My hobbies have changed over the years whether that's volunteering or running races. But there are a few that never change. I enjoy good beers and great scotch. I will never turn down an opportunity to camp, take a road trip or see a concert. I have been known to vacation solo when others withdrew or said no. I have learned I can't rely on others to do things that give me happiness.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies are about the only thing I watch now a days. I used to use Redbox to rent DVD's but now I'm likely to just visit the cinemas.
I love Italian food. BYOB sushi is fun. If you're Italian, I would just love you if you know how to make a real Italian meal. I eat 5 times a day so I love food in general, pretty much anything goes. I have a guilty pleasure of eating a whole bag of chips and salsa in an entire night.
I also like to cook... but I'm not very knowledgeable. Cooking with others is a great way to learn something new and get to know people better.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2010 I lived in Corpus Christi TX for three months and on the drive home I went hang-gliding in the hills of Georgia. In 2011 I worked in New Orleans for there months, on the 12000 mile road trip home slept over night on the south rim of the Grand Canyon, falling asleep to the brightest stars I have ever seen. 2012 I did not take any memorable trips. I was finishing school in Engineering and new internship and gf took up all my time. 2013 I flew to Costa Rica to learn Renewable Energy. I spent a lot of time driving across the country and scuba diving in both Pacific and Caribbean ocean. 2014 I flew to Denver, SanFran, Vegas (twice), Tempe AZ and short drive to Grand Canyon! 2015 Flew to New Orleans and left on a Caribbean cruise. 2016 Oahu & Maui of the Hawaiian islands. In 2018 my plan is to visit Colorado, California, Japan, Texas and New York on a multi-stop trip. In 2020 the plan is visit Tokyo Japan again but with my mother and cross fingers see an Olympic game. I'll be visiting Okinawa Japan to SCUBA dive and also visit Kyoto, Hiroshima, and more of Tokyo.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very good at skiing and could probably teach you in a few hours. It might be hard to do if its the summer in North America. If its the summer I could probably teach you to ride motorcycle.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences and life advice is someone asks for it. I generally offer some token of my appreciation, either as a gift or something from where I live. Have you ever eaten a Penn State sticky bun, moon pie, Yuengling Lager? PA has the most number of chip, pretzel and snack manufactures.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, England, France, Japan, Mexico
