Live Happily
ABOUT ME
I'm a cheerful graduate student who would like to see more of the world. I live with my husband Geoff, our corgi Ein, and our cat Lucy. Largely due to being a broke student I haven't traveled as much as I would like, but I hope to remedy that in the next couple of years. I'm a pretty chatty lass with an off-beat sense of humor and some strong political leanings.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an eternal optimist, I think that life is utterly beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books
Chill folksy stuff, alternative, and Tchaikovsky, on the music front although really I'm pretty open to most music. Movies I'm a lot more picky about, I generally don't care for comedies and I absolutely hat horror. I like dramas, foreign films, and anime. Some of my favorites are LOTR, The Princess Bride, Russian Promises, Volver, Once, I can never think of movies on the spot. Books, well I love to read but I have no shame in admitting that the majority of my reading material is romance novels. I spend an awful lot of time reading textbooks and journal articles I want to escape when I read. Some of my all time favorites, hoever, include Anna Karenina, Graceling, His Dark Materials, The Magic Mountain, and Persepolis.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once was forced up the side of a mountain by a mother bear and her two cubs. It was exhilarating and terrifying.
