Overview
About Me
I'm a recently-former-PhD student and musician with a love of folk music and instruments. I have a keen interest in ancient and medieval history, which is my main interest in travelling along with experiencing local folk music traditions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new and interesting people and don't want to spend my travels in empty hotel rooms! Also would love meeting/hosting guests if god forbid anybody ever wanted to go to *currently no long-term address*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Former National Champion Irish Dancer
Teach, Learn, Share
Irish dancing, guitar/bouzouki, a veritable goldmine of useless information.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I play the bouzouki (/mandolin) and guitar fairly competently. I can also play flute passably, a bit of piano, and dabble in drumming and basically anything else I have access to. I'd absolutely love to play some music with hosts or guests. I know folk songs/tunes from about 30 different countries :)
I can also dance for peanuts / couch space if demanded.
