About Me
Hi!
I'm a guy from Tasmania. I've lived in Melbourne and really made the most of it, Melbourne is so awesome. I then got my dream job and had to leave a lot there :( (poor baby). I love music and thoroughly enjoy gigs and mosh pits.
I work in agriculture and really enjoy my job. Through my life and job I have been to many places and seen much throughout Australia.
I probably think too much.
Cheers,
Andrew
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I didn't really understand couch surfing until I lived with a friend at Townsville in Northern Queensland. We get a lot of back packers up there and I initially thought it was just for people who were too tight to get a hostel. I soon saw that it can be one of the greatest ways to meet cool new people and get a real taste of solidarity with the locals and actually give your travels some substance.
Interests
I'm a massive fan of music. Especially music featuring a guitar (the fuzzier the better). I really enjoy people and having a drink and a laugh. I also enjoy the sharing of ideas and asking each other 'why' and 'how'. I sporadically become a book lover. I am not shy and I like people who put others at ease as I try and be that way too. Keeping active and gettin' on a sweat is a hobby too.
Music, Movies, and Books
Lets try and do this short and sweet.
Movies: The Wicker Man (1973), Wake In Fright, The Holy Mountain, You're Next
Music: Mercyful Fate, Samhain, Sleep, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest (it's a massive list I wont bore you, but if you dig any of those bands we are going to be best friends)
Books: Solaris, American Psycho, Ham on Rye, Hell's Angels
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saved a little turtle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English but if you already know that language I can teach Tasmanian English which is basically the same.
I would like to learn how many beers you can drink.
I am happy to share conversation and cooking, I guess if you need something and I can help I dig that too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The whole reason I'm doing this is for the hanging with the hosts so if you are just offering a place for only sleeping I'm not your man.
I can offer cooking and food on a night when it suits you (of course). I'm really keen to hangout, learn from each other, have a few beers, maybe we could party a bit too? I just want to laugh and get to know you.
Countries I’ve Visited
Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Sweden
