From a young age, I never was the football or indoor sports type.
The world outside always called for me and I followed wherever it took me.
When I started rock climbing, the sport wasn’t as popular and developed as it is today. Nowadays climbing is my go to sport during spring. Maltese weather is perfect for hanging out on the rocks. My favourite climb is in a cave under Garden of Eden where you have to climb against a roof and come out of the cave
with a sheer cliff drop under you.

During summer, you will find me underwater doing either scuba diving or freediving, and I am very passionate about both. When I’m freediving, the sensation that I long for is the silence that I find at the bottom and while looking up finding myself under a big sea that is allowing me to be there. My favourite dive site is
in Cirkewwa on the Tugboat Rozi shipwreck. Sitting at 25 meters alone in a sandy seabed as if it is alone in the universe.
Winter in my mind means snow, and snow means strapping my snowboard to rush down the mountain. Every year it is a challenge to find a new mountain to visit and enjoy. In 2017 the Tatras mountains in Slovakia was our destination. We didn’t get any fresh snow during our stay but it didn’t stop us from enjoying some breathtaking off-piste runs through trees and stumps.

It is unfortunate that for some of my favourite sports I need to travel abroad since they are not possible in Malta especially when I want to go skydiving.

Together with my gf we try to live day by day exploring the world little by little.
