About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy meeting artists, intellectuals and social change activists from other countries and other parts of the U.S.
ABOUT ME
After spending the past decade in Brooklyn, I have begun to divide my time between NYC and Montreal. In New York I immersed myself in the downtown performance scene as a curator and producer. Prior to living in Brooklyn, I lived in Philadelphia for several years. In addition to majoring in Urban Studies, I worked in the nonprofit sector... first at Philadelphia FIGHT, an agency which conducted clinical HIV trials and later at The Village of Arts and Humanities in North Philadelphia. I was also a founding board member of Media Tank, which worked on issues of media reform and education. I also participated in a queer direct action group called Grassroot Queers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a CS member for a few years, but I haven't been an active member. I am looking forward to becoming more involved both as a surfer and host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed quite a bit with friends. Some of my favorite experiences have been in Toronto where I have stayed with some really awesome activists and artists.
