CURRENT MISSION

To continue to move around the country for my jobs! I don't know where I belong, but I have some ideas of where I'm going to go....earth trekkin'....love what you do, do what you love.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Michigan, California, Utah, and now Vermont working various random jobs that have all been GREAT fun (in entertainment, music, outdoor adventure tourism, nonprofit, etc). What's the point in wasting the "good times of your life" doing things you don't want to do? I currently work as an Americorps VISTA and I LOVE it!

I pretty much go with the flow/flexible & a bit indecisive at times. I'm not too picky about anything. However, when I DO make plans: I am always too early, usually have a list, and stick to my plans. I am always sarcastic, but not rude. I LOVE vegetarian food, but I eat meat. I like my ripped jeans & tshirts, but I also like to dress up once in a while. I love to play my violin, but not in front of people. I am an odd girl, but I admit it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated just yet. As I will only be on the East Coast until mid November, I figured I should start traveling before my time is up! I will begin couch surfing in June!

Due to my current living arrangements, I can not provide a couch for other surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love comedies, but I tend to go for conspiracy based movies. What can I say, I was brought up on gangstas & dirty deals as a child!

Music: everything BUT country. You should know there is a difference between hip hop & rap, if you don't know this, don't fret, I WILL TEACH YOU!

Books: To keep my attention it has to be a music-related book, trivia, or warped beyond belief!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ever left my small town of 10,000 people in the mid-west, I packed up my truck and drove all the way to Hollywood, California! Attended school & graduated.

I loved moving to Utah to work at an outdoor adventure company where I had learned to canyoneer, rock climb, mountain bike, hike, tube, and drive a bus during my first week of work! Doing 2 canyons in one day with a huge pack, a drysuit, canyon overalls, and carrying wet rope in 30 degree water while taking less than 4 hours was my favorite accomplishment!

Teach, Learn, Share

Whatever I am an expert at I will attempt to teach you if you would like. Teachings include: being ghetto fabulous, the art of dorkiness, finding enjoyment in little things, explaining Scorsese movies, explaining WHY people think Tupac is alive, but letting you know he is actually dead (ok I won't teach this), the power of IMDB, etc.

I love to learn, I'm not always a promising student, but I always try! Except for dancing, don't even bother!
